"When conversation occurs between creatives, from those having an idea to those achieving the end result, from those wishing creativity was part of their life to those making creativity their lifestyle, it is beneficial and energizing."

MUSE is a source of creative inspiration--a time when creatives can dialogue about their similar processes, questions, and goals--regardless of the work they do or hope to do. This is also a time to network, to exchange resources and knowledge.

Creatives are: visual artists, musicians, writers, poets, choreographers, dancers, actors, small business owners, developers, theorists, mathematicians, programmers, scientists, philanthropists, advocates, fundraisers, self-starters, idea-havers, lofty-goal seekers, etc.

Amy Stacey Curtis, an installation artist from Gray, Maine, started MUSE in the Portland, Maine area, but soon learned that creatives beyond southern Maine would benefit from its purpose. I have decided to initiate MUSE [ town, state ] which will meet [ frequency of meetings ] for two hours at [ where and when ]. [Optional MUSE Kitty] I only ask for a $2 donation per MUSE participant per meeting. This donation is not required for participation.

[Guest Creative Optional] Each month I will schedule a Guest Creative who will give a brief talk about his or her creative process: fitting creativity into life or making creativity lifestyle; and I will send a monthly MUSE e-mail reminding you of the date and location, etc.
