MUSE Meeting Format. The following is only a suggestion. You may decide not to have a Guest Creative, or to have your Guest Creative speak during most of your meeting, or to always start with the Guest Creative. Curtis tries to keep MUSE Portland, Maine flexible: for example, sometimes participants spontaneously prefer to hear the Guest Creative speak first, etc.
1. First 20 minutes--Arrival and casual networking. This gives participants a chance to arrive and to dialogue on a more one-on-one or smaller group level.
2. Next 40 minutes--Open discussion. Welcome everyone, introduce yourself, briefly reiterate the MUSE mission to set the tone and inform newcomers, have everyone introduce themselves, start the dialogue. Facilitator notes from MUSE 1, Portland, ME.
3. Next 30 minutes--Introduce your Guest Creative; Guest Creative speaks.
4. Last 30 minutes--Guest Creative Q&A; more open discussion.
5. End of meeting--Remind participants about MUSE Kitty and mention date of next MUSE.
